| Male HRS/J hairless mice were used. The skin had been repeatedly frozen at -80oC and thawed at 37oC following excision (4min at each temperature, repeated 5 times) and was stored in a petri dish at -80oC until used. The % absorption was calculated by adding together the amounts recovered in the receptor fluid, the skin support and the lower chamber of the flow-through cell. A flow rate of 4ml/h was used. |
