NOTES

Franz cells were used with a receptor volume of 4.9ml. The donor chamber was covered with a glass slip to prevent evaporation. DEET wa analysed on an alltech C8 column (5 mcrl, 25cmx4.6mm) and eluted with the mobile phaxe at a flow-rate of 0.7 ml/min. The mobile phase was methanol/water (80:20)
