NOTES

The 1:1 dilution of the permenant oxidative hair dye was applied at a dose of 18.2mg/cm2. Female, fuzzy Sprague-Dawley Rats were used. For further Experimental Detail see J. Soc. Cosmet. Chem. 48 187-197 (1997) The % absorption was given as +/- 0.19SE, but I cannot convert this to SD for the database as they don't give an exact number of experiments but simply say for 4-5 replicates for 3 rats. I have entered the lowest possible number of replicates as the value for n.
