Soil constitutied 26% sand 26% clay 48% silt and 0.9% organic. 40mg/cm2 of soil were added The 3 replicates came from one human skin source. % Penetration has been calculated by adding the amount found in the receptor fluid to the amount found in the skin after washing at the end of the experiment. The amount actually abosrbed in mg was extrememly small at 7E-8mg
