NOTES

Fresh skin from a Male Sprague Dawley Rat was used. The acetone was evaporated to dryness in about 5 min by a cool air current from an electric fan. The % Penetrated was calculated from adding together the amount found in the receptor fluid to the amount found in the skin digest at the end of the experiment. The skin was washed with an aqueous radiac soap solution at 24 hours. Extra Experimental Detail was gained from Ref 90
