NOTES

Labrafac hydrophile is a mixture of C8-C10 ethoxylated glycerides. 2g of the vehicle was applied, which was saturated with methyl nicotinate. 8-week old hairless rats were used. Flux was calculated from Kp multiplied by the solubility in mg/g. For methyl nicotinate in Labrafac Hydrophilel this was 723mg/g. The Kp was calculated using a Mathematica programme.
