NOTES

The Log Kp was given in the paper as -1.59 which gives a Kp of 2.57E-2. I think that this is an arithmetic error so I have changed it for the database.The cells were closed with a cap to prevent evaporation. The skins were from animals of weight 20kg. The solution was adjusted to pH 2.5 (2 months old - corresponding to an adolescent minipig). Lag time was in the range 1-2 hours
