NOTES

The Log Kp was given in the paper as -1.68 which gives a Kp of 2.07E-2. I think that this is an arithmetic error so I have changed it for the database. The cells were closed with a cap to prevent evaporation. The skins were from animals 1.5 months old of weight 3kg. The solution was adjusted to pH 2.5. Lag time was in the range 1-2 hours.
