NOTES

An integriy test was done with tritiated water, skin membranes were then allowed to hydrate naturally after a small quantity of saline was placed in the receiver chamber and left overnight. Graphs were drawn of the amount penetrated vs time and ss-flux was calculated form the linear portion of the graph. Kp was calculated by dividing the ss-flux by the applied concentration. The concentration of ethanol applied was 1mg/ml + 2.7 mcrCi/m.l The specific activities of the neat compounds were not given so I was unable to work out the actual concentration applied in mg/ml
