NOTES

As the dose was infinite, evaporation did not affect the study, so it is recorded as an occluded study. The subjects were 2 women and one man all Caucasian. The mean concentration of DMEA was 270mg/m3 and the chamber had a volume of 0.5m3. The 3 subjects had slightly different exposure areas, due to their differing sizes of forearms. Subject A - 891cm2, B - 891cm2, C - 835cm2. the mean has been used in the database. The mean uptake was 44.75microg. I calculated the average flux and standard deviation from the raw flux results. They calculated Kp from the amount absorbed/surface ares exposed x exposure concentration x exposure time, and then calculated Jss from that so there is no way of knowing whether steady sta conditions were actually reached.
