NOTES

This study was conducted at normal air temperature and humidity (23oC, 29% rel. humidity) The BE Vapour was generated in an exposure chamber and maintained at 2mmol/m3. the subjects sat in the chamber only wearing shorts and were fitted with a resiratory mask connected to a tank containing pressurised clean air. Immediately after the 2h exposure the subjects took a shower. The average absorption rate was 32 micromols/min. This was calculated as the product of the apparent blood clearance and the AUC of skin exposure. The results from this study were compared to those from an inhalation study.
