NOTES

Female hairless Sprague-Dawley rats were used. The application area was delimited by an open circular cell fixed by silicone glue to prevent spreading. % absorption was calculated by adding together the amounts found in the urine, faeces, epidermis + dermis of treated area and anumal body. The amount recovered in the stratum corneum was treated as unabsorbed.
