NOTES

Female Sprague Dawley Rats were used. The application sites were not occluded but a self-adhesive foam pad, supported by a teflon ring was secured around each site. 2sites each of 2.54cm2 were used. The % absorbed is approximate as the actual amount was not stated in the paper and was read off a graph.
