NOTES

Rats were restrained by rubber tubing tied around the body behind the forelegs and in front of the rear legs. The back of each rat was shaved with electric clippers. A nylon ring was attached to the back by cyanoacrylate adhesive. A parenteral dose was administered separately so that results could be corrected for incomplete urinary excretion.
