NOTES

Female Rhesus Monkeys were used. The monkeys were placed in specially designed metabolic chairs for the first 24 hours and then the application site was washed with 50% soap and water beofre the monkes were transferred to metabolic cages. The % absorption was calculated by comparing the amount excreted in the urine and the faeces with that excreted after an iv dose.
